Parents and students from Jefferson and Buena Vista Elementary participated in "This Budget Blows" rallies as part of a statewide effort to tell state leaders "Don't Blow It."
Jefferson Elementary School parent and PTA president Debbie Meyer organized the "This Budget Blows" rally at her child's school.
She says class sizes are filled with at least 33 students in a first grade class and with budget cuts that number could increase to 40-45.
