Join us for a rally to support education funding!  We will be gathering on Briceland Rd Thursday morning at 8:10.  It is that time of year again when continuous budget cuts, year after year, lead to teacher and school staff lay offs.  Yes, yes, we passed prop 30...  But it was not a fix, simply a band aid on a wound needing surgery!  There will still be layoffs for next school year. By law, school districts have to give "pink slips", or notices to employees that their job may not be there for next year, by March 15!  The SHUSD Board meets March 7, 2013 to discuss layoffs in our district.  Show your support for teachers, school employees, and most importantly, students, by joining our public rally.  Bring a sign!  Join Educate Our State!
