UPDATE May 6: We have great news. Join us tomorrow. We can do this!

We have good news and bad news.

The bad news? We were not able to raise millions to get it on the ballot (but email by county the number of completed signatures you have on hand and destroy - these numbers are valuable for reporting county numbers to legislators!).

The good news? Hundreds of community members collected thousands of signatures and woke up voters to the fact that their property taxes are not getting to their schools. AND we don't have to gather any more signatures...that was getting old! 

So what do we do next? We ask the legislature to put it on the ballot! It is their mess (well, actually their predecessor's mess, which makes it an easier ask) to do it! We promise it will be an even more fun and rewarding campaign. Don't forget to send and share here.

And don't get rid of that hat yet! We will use it for our statewide rally on May 16.
